How to Use the Vehicle Damage Scope Sheet

This scope sheet helps you document vehicle damage for insurance claims or appraisals. Follow these steps to use it:

• Step 1: Fill in Claim Information - Enter the vehicle owner's name and claim number (required). Phone and email are optional.
• Step 2: Fill in Appraiser Info - Enter the appraiser name (required).
• Step 3: Fill in Insurance Company - Enter the insurance company name (optional).
• Step 4: Fill in Inspection Location - Provide location details like name, address, phone, email, tax ID, and inspection date (optional).
• Step 5: Enter Vehicle Information - Provide the vehicle's year, make, and model (required). Other fields like exterior color, interior color, license, odometer, VIN, and production date are optional.
• Step 6: Document Damage - Expand each category in the Damage Assessment section, select the status for each vehicle part, and add details or cost if applicable. This section is optional.
• Step 7: Add Inspection Notes - Optionally, include any additional notes about the inspection in the textarea at the bottom.
• Step 8: Manage Photos - Click "Go to Photo Page" to add photos for the vehicle. You can upload photos, save them as a ZIP, email the ZIP, or generate a photo PDF on the photo page.
• Step 9: Save or View - Click "View Scope Sheet PDF" to open the scope sheet as a PDF in a new window or "Save as PDF" to download it. Photos are managed separately on the photo page.
