How to Use the Photo Documentation Page

This page allows you to manage photos for vehicle damage documentation. Follow these steps to use it:

• Step 1: Enter Vehicle Information - Fill in the Claim Number, VIN Number (optional), Year, Make, and Model fields above. This information will appear at the top of the PDF and be used to name files.
• Step 2: Add Photos - Click on a category (e.g., "Vin Dash") to take a photo with your phone's camera or select an image from your gallery. You can add multiple photos per category; they will be named sequentially (e.g., "Vin Dash 1", "Vin Dash 2"). The number of photos taken is shown in parentheses. This section is optional.
• Step 3: Manage Photos - Preview uploaded photos below the upload buttons. Photos are scaled to 50% of their original size for storage and 50% for PDF generation, preserving the full image. Wide photos are rotated to portrait orientation.
• Step 4: Save or Share - Use the buttons below to:
  • Generate Photo PDF: Download a PDF with all photos, four per page (2 rows of 2 photos). The PDF will be named using the format ClaimNumber-Year-Make-Model.pdf.
  • Download Photos as Zip: Download all photos as a single zip file named ClaimNumber-Year-Make-Model.zip. We recommend using 7-Zip to extract the zip file, as it has been tested and works reliably.
• Step 5: Return to Scope Sheet - Click "Back to Scope Sheet" to return to the main form for entering claim, vehicle, and damage details.
